FOUR NATIONS CUP
is coming to Ontario!
The OWHA is teaming up with Hockey Canada and the City of Kitchener
to offer special programs in and around this prestigious international women’s hockey event
Programs include:
• Esso
Fun Day - Daughters, Moms, Aunts, Sisters, Grandmas, ….
do you want to give ice hockey a try? Girls & women of all ages
are invited to join in an Esso FUN Day on Thursday, Nov 9th at The
Aud in Kitchener!
• We
are Coachesr - The Ontario Women's Hockey Association, Hockey
Canada and the City of Kitchener are thrilled to offer the “WE
ARE COACHES” program to Women (16 & older) as part of
the 2006 Four Nations excitement.
• Hockey
Canada Skills Development Camp - CAMP
IS FULL - The HOCKEY CANADA SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
is all about development opportunities for both players and coaches.
Fundamental skill development is the primary focus of the program,
ensuring players receive the necessary learning opportunities to
further enhance their skill base.
• Nomination
Form - Nominate an OWHA Player. The OWHA is looking for
players to participate in the upcoming 2006 Four Nations Cup in
Kitchener , Nov 7th-11th Nomination Deadline: October 16, 2006

Domino's Skills Challenge - As
part of the Domino's Skill Standards and Testing Program, Hockey
Canada has partnered with Domino’s Pizza to develop the ‘Domino’s
Skills Challenge’ to be hosted across Canada during development,
domestic and international events.

Officiating
Seminar – Nov 11th - The Ontario Women’s Hockey
Association in conjunction with Hockey Canada and the 2006 Four
Nations Cup are hosting an information session for anyone interested
in learning more about becoming a game official (referee). The “How
to Become a Game Official” session is open to participants
ages 12 & up.

Parents Day / Chevy Safe & Fun - Parents Approach Seminar

Waterloo Ravens Girls Hockey Fall Challenge invite OWHA Hockey Parents
to a special one-hour Parents Approach Seminar & to help us
all celebrate National Hockey Parents’ Day!

Parent Workshop - Hockey Parents are invited to participate
in a morning of discussion and sharing of ideas in an informal environment.
Hockey Canada and the Ontario Women's Hockey Association are excited
about having you assist us in obtaining a variety of feedback on
selected areas of the game involving Parents and Players.

Goalie Clinic - The Ontario Women's Hockey Association in
cooperation with Hockey Canada is offering a GOALIE CLINIC for OWHA
GOALIES and COACHES. Special Guest Speakers include: Cathy Phillips,
Team Canada Goaltender
