The Dr. Tom Pashby Sports Safety Fund is sponsoring the Think First Concussion Road Show on Saturday November 18, 2006 at the Air Canada Centre.

It is open to physicians, trainers, coaches and all those interested in learning the most up-to-date information about diagnosing, treatment and return to play guidelines.

Headlined by internationally renowned neurosurgeons Dr. Karen Johnston and Dr. Charles Tator, it will also feature Dr. James Kissick and Paul Dennis Phd, Toronto Maple Leafs director of player development and others who will add insight into the concussion or head injury problems in sport.

Paul Piccininni a dentist on the medical committees of the International Olympic Committee and International Ice Hockey Federation will report on the myths and truths of mouth guards.

Opening remarks start at 7:45 A.M. sharp with closing comments at 10:15 A.M. – Stay to watch the game day practice of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Thanks to the generosity of the Dr. Tom Pashby Sports Safety Fund there will be no charge to the participants.
