The Ontario Women’s Hockey Association is saddened to announce the passing of David Solomon, Betty’s husband. David was in hospital where he suddenly passed away following surgery. There will be no funeral but, at a later date, there will be a celebration of David’s life. The Solomon family have been instrumental in the growth and development of women’s hockey and have contributed selflessly for the good of the players. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and her family.
There will be a Celebration of David’s Life at the Canadian Legion in Lynden, on Sunday February 8th from 1:00 to 6:00. The Lynden Legion is on the only main street in Lynden, between Hwy. 5 and Hwy. 99.
