CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 1995 to 2001 |

- The 2001 Canadian National Championship was held from
March 7 to 11, 2001 in Summerside, PEI. After five days of competition,
it was Alberta and Quebec who advanced to the gold medal final
game. Alberta defeated Quebec by a narrow margin of 1-0 to claim
the gold medal.
- The 2000 Canadian National Championship will be held
in Sydney, Nova Scotia from March 8-12, 2000. Ontario.

- The 1998 Canadian National Championship was held in Calgary,
Alberta from March 19-22, 1998. Each province sends either an
all-star team, or the team that wins the provincial championship
for the highest level of women's hockey within that province.

- The 1997 Canadian National Championship was held in Richmond,
British Columbia from March 6-9, 1997. There were eight different
provinces represented at this year's Esso Women's National Championship.
Each province sends either an all-star team, or the team that
wins the provincial championship for the highest level of women's
hockey within that province. The Edmonton Chimos from Alberta
are the 1997 National Champions.
- The 1996 Canadian National Championship was held in Monction,
New Brunswick from March 21-24, 1996. There were nine different
provinces represented at this year's Esso Women's National Championship.
Each province sends either an all-star team, or the team that
wins the provincial championship for the highest level of women's
hockey within that province. Team Quebec is the 1996 Champion
- The 1995 Canadian National Championship was held at Summerside,
Prince Edward Island from March 22-26, 1995.
