be advised that benefits of membership within the Ontario Women's
Hockey Association include insurance coverage as outlined in
the Canadian Hockey Association's (now Hockey Canada) booklet
Safety requires teamwork. OWHA members are covered ONLY during
CHA/OWHA sanctioned events (league games, tournaments, practices,
training camps, sanctioned fundraisers) when playing member
teams only. The OWHA has NOT sanctioned any tournaments in the
months of June, July or August 2007. The OWHA does NOT support
participation in non-sanctioned events.
