Twenty of Ontario ’s best women’s hockey plyers
have been selected to play for Team Ontario at the prestigious Canada
Winter Games to take place March 2nd to 8th,
2003in Campbelton and Bathurst , New Brunswick. Players are 17 years
or younger as of December 31, 2002.

Women’s hockey was first accepted into the Canada
Winter Games in 1991. Team Ontario is the defending gold medallist
from the 1999 Canada Winter Games in New Brunswick.
Past members of Ontario’s who have gone on to play
for Team Canada’s women’s team include:

advanced to Canada’s Under 22 team.
